  1. My favorite memory must be my family drinking spiced apple cider and singing carols together when we were kids. Apparently we were odd. I mentioned this to a childhood acquaintance I saw recently. They responded, “Yea, but, you guys didn’t have a TV so you had to do something. Weird.” Then she recalled staying up day and night for a Christmas movie marathon and eating the scads and scads of treats her mum and Gr’ma kept pumping out. Not to disparage, but, I still get a warm, cozy, reverent feeling recalling those caroling times…so, weird or not, there it is.

  3. I am always interested in new resources to teach my family about God and His servants.

  4. I remember getting to bake Christmas cookies with my Gramma. It was nice because I had her for more one-on-one attention.

  6. I have sooo many favorite Christmas memories..but one of my ultimate was when my husband returned from deployment. It was amazing to have him back home again!

    1. That would be one of my favorites as well!!! My cousin is returning home today from deployment. That’s the closest I’ve come to understanding.

  7. Planning a weekend with the Grandparents to buy my parents gifts for Christmas. All three of kids put our money together and got Dad an ornament and Mom a snowman candle. It was so fun to give!

  13. My great-grandparents were married on Christmas day, so we always had an extra special celebration for them. They were married for over 75 years before my Great-Grandma passed away.

    1. WOW!!! 75 years?! What a legacy and a blessing!! I can see how those would be your favorite memories. Blessings.

  14. I want to teach my son about the Bible, but I feel that I am just as much of a beginner as he is. This would be a great way for us both to learn together!

  15. Creating memories with my own children. They are finally old enough to do crafts and understand Christmas. This year is their first year in the Christmas play at church.

  16. The look on my children’s faces when they would come into the living room and see all the presents even though we didn’t have money to buy anything.

  17. I would love to have the friends and heroes video so that my children can have something uplifting to watch when we have a rest day.

  18. We never believed in Santa, but we had fun taking turns playing Santa on Christmas morning every year. Someone would get to don the red hat and hand out all the gifts.

  19. My favorite Christmas memory… all the family Christmas gatherings the year we got married 12 years ago. Our wedding was the weekend immediately after Christmas and almost all of our relatives from both sides came. Big Christmas celebrations followed by a wonderful wedding day.
