day 11

Day 11 ~ I am thankful for my church.

It was a scary thing to move our family 600+ miles from everything and everyone we knew. We did not know what to expect, we only knew God was in control. The provision the Lord has shown us through the last 6 months has been nothing short of amazing. I am so grateful we chose to put aside our fears and take this leap of faith into God’s plan.

It hasn’t been all peaches and cream though. Being a ministry family is not easy!! Sure there are great and wonderful aspects of ministry life, but it is hard. I’m so thankful the Lord has proven himself faithful to us time and time again. This road may not be the path we saw for ourselves (exactly), but we know it is without a doubt the path God has lead us down. And we are so blessed to be on it with Him!!

We are blessed with Elders who love the Lord with all their heart and want only to seek and serve Him!! Do you know what a blessing that is?! They want to know the Holy Spirit more and they want His presence to be known in our services!!!! WOW!!! It is definitely a less-traveled road they want to take and I’m so glad we’re going with them.
