My kids are finally old enough to really enjoy science. Other than the oldest (10), the others have shown little interest until the past few months. And now that we live in the country, they are more and more curious about the animals we see almost daily. The barn owl is one of them.
We are all fascinated with owls, so I think its time we study them. I remember learning about and “dissecting” owl pellets when I was younger. Once I got over the fact that it was ‘puke’ from an owl, it was fascinating to see what bones we could find inside. I just hope my kids feel the same.
