How many times have you been hard at work all day, busy with the kids and housework, only to look down and see the clock roll over to 5:00pm? It used to happen to me all the time before I began doing a Weekly Meal Plan. But what do you put on that Meal Plan?? Well, once I again I have perused Pinterest and found some quick and easy meals to make while you’re preparing for that Big Holiday Meal. ENJOY!!!!

Slow Cooker Meals – What Mom doesn’t love her slow cooker? Oh who am I kidding, you don’t have to be a Mom to enjoy your slow cooker! Isn’t it just one of the BEST kitchen appliances? I just love using mine during those hot, squelching summer months, but it comes in quite handy on those busy days of holiday meal preparation too! Here’s a few of my favorites:

Lemon Chicken

Sweet Pineapple Chicken

Honey-Sauced Chicken

Barbecue Chicken

Easy Garlic Chicken (GF)

Italian Red Potatoes (GF)

Stroganoff with Cream Cheese

White Chicken Enchiladas

Hashbrowns and Ham

Mama and Baby Love has some great tips on preparing tons of crock-pot meals for the freezer!!

A Turtle’s Life For Me shows you how to prepare 46 freezer meals for just $95 and in only 4 hours!! Put in the time up-front and you won’t have to fret come dinner time!!! I love, love, love this idea!!!

Soups – I love soup!!! Plain and simple. My kiddos, however, don’t quite have the same love of soup – yet!! Sometimes I’ll make up a SC soup recipe just for me and it will last me several days of leftover lunches. Here are a few yummy Slow Cooker Soup Recipes for you.

Potato Soup

Chicken Enchilada Soup

French Onion Soup

Tortilla Soup

Quick & Easy Oven Dinners – Even though the slow cooker is the logical choice for no-hassle meals, sometimes there is a meal (or two) that take very little time but are HUGE hits with the family. These are some of our favorites:

Sloppy Joe Bake

Chicken and Rice

All-in-One Chicken Dinner
