Some days it seems that all my kids want to do is eat, eat, EAT!!!! Those days may tire me out, but they go much smoother when I have some pre-made snacks on hand for the kiddos. So, once again I turned to my favorite resource for all-things-food…Pinterest. Today I’m sharing with you a some Easy Homemade Snacks you can have on-hand while you’re preparing for those Holiday meals.
Homemade Fruit Roll-Ups – I used to love these as a kid!! But who knew back then how bad they were for you? These great recipes are easy, packed with nutrition and NONE of those nasty, hard-to-pronounce ingredients we all want to avoid!
Frozen Yogurt Dots – I love yogurt and so do my kiddos. But sometimes it just gets messy when the Middles eat it. This is a perfect solution for those too little to handle their own spoon, but love to feed themselves! Plus, you can just grab a few from the freezer and go! Love this idea!!
Fruit, Just Fruit – Fruit is now our main snack since I was told not to mix fruit with other foods as it digests differently. But eating plain ol’ fruit can get boring really fast! So why not mix it up a bit with these fun ideas!!
Frozen Yogurt Blueberries (or any other fruit for that matter)
Although fruit is our main snack around here, sometimes we do like to switch it up a bit and have granola bars or even some crackers. Here are some homemade versions of these favorite past-time snacks.
Cookies – Sometimes cookies can be a healthy snack! Especially when they are made with fruit and whole food ingredients.
