Although Election Day isn’t a “holiday” it’s a great time to discuss why we have elections, why they are important and what they mean. So, I put together some fun Election Day writing activities to help get kids’ imaginations going.

In these Election Day writing activities you will find Copywork, Writing Prompts and the Draw & Write prompts. Again, the writing prompts and draw prompts will all be in one download, rather than two different sets.

While these are ideal to use with kids who can write themselves, you can still use them with your little ones – especially the Draw & Write prompts. Simply have them draw a picture according to the prompt and then allow them to dictate what they drew.

Writing Activities sets include:

  • 32 pages of copywork
    • 8 Preschool Letters
    • 8 Early Manuscript words
    • 8 Manuscript Sentences
    • 8 Cursive Sentences
  • 12 Election Day themed Draw & Write prompts
    • 6 Manuscript lined pages
    • 6 Plain lined pages
  • 18 Election Day themed Writing Prompts
    • 9 Manuscript lined pages
    • 9 Plain lined pages
    • Extra lined pages for both
