Columbus Day is a holiday that has a lot of background info needed to fully understand and appreciate it. However, kids will enjoy these fun Columbus Day writing activities to help celebrate the day. In these Columbus Day writing activities you will find Copywork, Writing Prompts and the Draw & Write prompts. Again, the writing prompts and draw prompts will all be in one download, rather than two different sets.

Kids will enjoy learning and celebrating Columbus Day with these fun Writing Prompts, Draw-then-Write prompts and Copywork for preschoolers - 5th grade.

While these are ideal to use with kids who can write themselves, you can still use them with your little ones – especially the Draw & Write prompts. Simply have them draw a picture according to the prompt and then allow them to dictate what they drew.
