Christmas is just around the corner. Can you believe it? This year has just flown by at record pace. Around our house, we try to keep Christmas focused on Jesus Christ. He is the reason we celebrate this holiday. So during the first few weeks of December, we do Advent activities and really try to keep our kids’ focus on Jesus, not gifts and toys they might receive. You can read more about our reasons for not giving gifts at Christmas here.
Included in this set
- Plain coloring pages for toddlers
- Preschool Letters for PreK-K
- Manuscript for 1st – 3rd grades
- Cursive for 3rd – 5th grades
We also love reading to our children especially during the cold winter days of December sitting around the fire. We love reading different stories of Advent, Christmas traditions and some fun favorites too. This is also a great time to talk to your kids about the True Reason for the Season – Jesus! We like to use our own Nativity set to teach our kids about the story of Jesus’ birth and then let them retell the story to help make it stick.
