Gardening is something I have always loved – at least the thought of it. I remember dreaming of the day when I would someday have a huge garden and grow all my food. Yes…I was a weird child. LOL
While I still dream of those days, as we are searching for just the right house for our family, I want my kids to get the garden fever too. I would love for them to be excited for and anticipate the day we can grow our own tomatoes, carrots, strawberries and whatever else we want! My husband dreams of the day we can make (and can) our own fresh salsa, but that’s another story.
My hope is that these Gardening writing prompts will inspire and encourage children to think about gardening. I know gardens are a lot of work, but there is so much learning that can occur in them. I hope you and your students enjoy this set.
