Liebster Blog Award and my Nominations

  •
In All You Do uses affiliate links within its posts. You may read more on our disclosure policy.

It’s always nice when you spend time on something and someone recognizes your effort.

That is what the Liebster Blog Award is for, and my fellow blogger, Kirra, at http://kirraantrobus.blogspot.com/2012/05/leibster.html has nominated me for the award.

I am honored, humbled and blessed that she has seen fit to honor my blog this way.

The award is one that, when you receive it, you share it with others.

So, here are the rules:

  • Thank the person that gave you the award in a post on your own site.
  • Nominate up to five blogs with less than 200 followers.
  • Let the nominees know they’ve won by leaving a comment on one of their posts.
  • Add the Liebster image so all your readers know that you are generally awesome.

To be clear, there is no committee that gives this award.  It is simply bloggers recognizing each other for the effort and consideration put into their blogs.

And now, to my nominations:

First, I nominate Naomi at What Joy Is Mine. Naomi and I have quickly become blog friends. I found her site via a blog link-up a while back and I have enjoyed reading her posts ever since. She is a godly woman who shares her faith. She is a fellow Homeschool Mom. And she has been such an encouragement to me via her comments. I frequently participate in her blog link-up on Mondays, entitled “Mondays Musings” where you can share/read posts on encouragement about being a child of God, being a wife, mothering, homemaking, homeschooling and recipes, etc. Truly anything that would encourage another is acceptable. Stop by her site and be blessed!

Second, I nominate Kate at Teaching What Is Good. Kate is also a Homeschooling Mom, but with so much more experience than I! She has 8 kiddos!!! Her site is full of wisdom, ideas and tips that I can’t seem to get enough of.  She is also a godly women and such an inspiration to me. I have been so blessed by her encouraging words on my posts. I love linking up with her on Tuesdays in her “Loving Our Children” link-up. I find so many wonderful new ideas each week! Take a moment to stop by her site and say “Hi” or just read about her amazing family! I promise you’ll be blessed!

Third, I nominate Gwen at Tolivers to Texas. Now, I may be a girl from Oklahoma, but I so appreciate Gwen’s Texas-size heart that shines through in her posts. She is another Homeschool Mom to 8 young kiddos (well the youngest is not quite to homeschool age yet). Her and her husband are volunteers with Wycliffe Bible Translators and I so love her testimony of how that all came about. I love reading about her busy family and how they make life work. She does some review work for homeschool products, which I find very helpful. Take some time to hop on over to her site and read all about her sweet family and their crazy, busy, wonderful life!

Fourth, I nominate Erica at Let Why Lead. I just recently found Erica after she commented on a recent post of mine. I found myself spending waaaaay too much time on her site, but enjoying every minute of it! She writes about Motherhood, Home Organization, fun and super cute DIY projects/makeovers. She has some wonderful ideas on decorating the rooms in your home. I love her style and so wish I was as crafty and stylish as she!! But, alas…I will probably continue to live vicariously through her and other blog friends! Jump over to her cute blog and check her out!

And my last nomination goes to Mindy at Grateful for Grace. Now, I can’t say for sure that she has less than 200 followers (her facebook page has 259), but since this award isn’t monitored and she’s so darn close to 200, I  thought “who cares?” I love reading her posts when they come to my inbox. In fact, hers are ones I frequently search for when I need encouragement and a blessing. She is another homeschooling mom to 6 kids (yes, I read aLOT of homeschool blogs). She writes on some tough and controversial subjects with such grace and humility. She is so “real” in her parenting advice, struggles and delivers her posts with such transparent honesty. I am blessed and encouraged every time I read her posts. And I know you will be too!

That’s it!  Thank you ladies for taking time to make your blogs worth checking out!

So, take a moment to check out each of their blogs and subscribe if you’d like to keep up with them!!

Blessings,

Annette
