In just a few weeks it will be December – can you believe it? That means the Christmas season will be in full swing. Even if you don’t do specific activities for Advent, I encourage you to study the Nativity with your kids. It is one of our favorite studies of the year. Today you can download this beautiful Tot & PreK-K pack, which coordinates wonderfully with the Nativity Emergent Readers. And don’t forget about the Puzzles & Activities in the Mini Puzzle Unit – some of which are suitable for the little ones! Don’t miss all my other Tot Packs and Emergent Readers!!

We also love reading to our children especially during the cold winter days of December sitting around the fire. We love reading different stories of Advent, Christmas traditions and some fun favorites too. This is also a great time to talk to your kids about the True Reason for the Season – Jesus! We like to use our own Nativity set to teach our kids about the story of Jesus’ birth and then let them retell the story to help make it stick.
