Today I’m sharing the last installment in the Resurrection Day printables. This Mini Puzzle Unit is the perfect way to add some fun while remembering the sacrifice Christ made on that Cross for us 2,000 years ago. I know it may seem strange to have a puzzle unit for Resurrection Day, but hear me out. People, especially kids, learn in a variety of ways. Some learn by rote memorization while others learn by singing everything. Some learn through worksheets and book reading (me), while others learn through actions and doing things. I think this Resurrection Day Mini Puzzle Unit adds another dimension of learning to this important event.
Although these puzzles may seem like just a fun activity, I actually took a lot of time and care in deciding what words to use and how this fun unit could still point their eyes to the One this holiday is about – Jesus Christ. I am so pleased with how this unit came together and how I believe it maintains the focus and mission of my heart and this blog.
This unit includes:
- 10 pages of puzzles for PreK – 5th grade
- 2 Crosswords (PreK-2 & 3rd-5th)
- 2 Word Searches (PreK-2 & 3rd-5th)
- 2 Word Scrambles (PreK-2 & 3rd-5th)
- 2 How Many Words Can You Make? (PreK-2 & 3rd-5th)
- Matching exercise (PreK-2)
- What or Who Am I? (3rd-5th)
