One of my favorite Christmas movies of all time is “A Christmas Carol.” I watch it every year. I just love it. Last year, I started having my kids watch it with me. Not only is it a great movie, but it has a great lesson that I can use to teach the kids about being joyful and grateful for what you have, no matter how little it might be.

There are several versions that you can watch, so we watch at least a couple of them and talk about the differences. My oldest has fun evaluating them and seeing how much he can find that’s different. And of course, we read the book by Dickens every year, so he has the book to compare with as well.
