My kids are not fans of writing period. They really dislike copywork, but they love to learn the facts. And they really dislike writing papers, even if they enjoy the research. But they love creating stories and using their imaginations. So we compromise with writing activities.

We don’t do everything in one day and I let them pick and choose what writing prompts they want to work on each day. But for every writing prompt they choose, they have to do two pages of copywork. It really is a win-win. They are learning facts while working on their handwriting and stretching their imaginations!

Writing Activities Include:

  • 29 pages of copywork
    • 7 Preschool Letters
    • 8 Early Manuscript words
    • 4 pages Manuscript pages
    • 4 pages Cursive pages

      1. Everybody enjoyed it very much. My kids are just absolutely nuts about sharks. They made me laminate every page! They have been writing and tracing, erasing and doing it again. We made their shark books. We printed two sets of shark cards to play Memory Game. My 4 year old said, “I love it so much!! I want to never stop playing it!” My 7 year old slept with the laminated shark cards under his pillow. They’ve been asking me to make them shark cards for a while, but I couldn’t figure out where to get good pics, so you saved me a lot of work! Thank you!

        1. Oh Eva! This makes my heart SO happy!! What a blessing you have given me today. I hope they enjoy them for many days, weeks and months to come! Thank you for stopping by and making my day!
