I am not a bug or insect person per se, but I do find them fascinating. So long as I’m studying them while they’re dead! I can take care of them in the house, if I have to, but truth be told I’m like a ninja when they crawl on me. I’ve been known to run around, jump up and down, hit things, throw things at the insect and even scream on occasion. So, then again…maybe I do hate them. However, their life cycles are very interesting and we love learning about them, so this week we’re gonna talk about the Dung Beetle and its life cycle.

The Platypus is a fascinating mammal. Whether you do a unit just on him or mammals, don't miss these fun coloring pages! :: www.inallyoudo.net

4 Sets of Coloring Pages Include:

  • Printed words for Toddlers to just color the pages
  • Traceable letters for early writers to practice and color
  • Manuscript names to trace
  • Cursive names to trace

If you’re looking for some great readers to use while learning about the platypus, check out these great titles. Many are probably available at your local library, or you could get a Kindle version for most of them on Amazon. I love using my Kindle Reader app to read with my kids. I have so many titles at the tip of my fingers in just minutes!

  1. Fantastic book list! My boys love platypuses but I’ve never really thought to study them with my boys. Pinned to my science board.
