Salmon may seem like a strange animal to study, but it can fit in a variety of unit studies and/or field trips. Add them in to a fish study, a study on rivers, a study on fresh water fish or even a broader study on vertebrates. Taking a field trip to a fish hatchery? These would be perfect!!

Notebooking pages are a great way for kids to record everything they learn about the Salmon. This notebooking pack is also a great way for kids to work on their handwriting – sneaky, sneaky homeschool mom.
