Start here if you missed any of our Across the USA in 31 Days series. Every day this month I have brought you a small sample of printables from my larger eBook, which will be released this week!! EEEK! I hope you enjoyed this month as we traveled across 31 different states in the USA.

Learn more about the 38th state of Colorado and its flag in today's post. Color the flag as you read or listen along. {free printables} :: www.inallyoudo.net

Colorado is one of my most favorite states in the Union. I have been there just a couple of times and it was in high school, so it might have been the fact that I had a huge group of friends with me or that we were at a Winter Music Festival, where I celebrated my birthday both times – but it still remains my favorite. I love the mountains and the skiing, but I also loved the atmosphere of the towns and Denver itself. Yes, its huge, but I just love everything about it. I can’t wait to take my kids there one day.

While you’re dreaming of the snow powdered slopes, you can download the State Flag Coloring Pages for Colorado. The flag has three equal width stripes – blue, white, blue – in that order. One fifth of the total length from the staff lies a block letter C in red, the same red in the national flag of the United States. The diameter of the letter is 2/3 of the width of the flag and it crosses a portion of all three stripes, covering all of the white. Filling in the center of the letter C is a golden circle. Attached to the flag is a cord of gold and silver, intertwined with tassels – one gold and one silver. The coloring pages are available in print for the pre-writers, dotted manuscript for early writers and dotted cursive for upper elementary.
