So for the past few months I’ve been on a mission to “Get Healthy.” And if you’ve read my blog at all this year, you probably know this has been a difficult year to say the least. But, we are pressing onward and holding fast to God’s truth that He is in control and knows our future.
That being said, this past month has gone better than the previous two months. I have not had a stay in the hospital since I was released in mid-June and I think we’re about to get my diet under control.
We finally have some answers to the pain and issues I’ve had over the past 4 months. I will talk more about that next week. But it has been nice to finally have some answers and work towards a healthier life.
I have been very consistent in counting my calories the past month. I put an app on my phone that I love. It has been so helpful to see it spelled out for me! I have gone over my calorie goal a couple of times, but for the most part I’ve stayed under it. I have yet to weigh myself, but my clothes are starting to loosen up!!! So that’s a good sign!
I do know that I am finally losing the dreaded weight from the prednisone. I know I will feel so much better once that is completely gone too.
I am ready to be healthy!! I will update this post when I weigh in.
