Chickens. Either you love them or you hate them. Our family loves them and their eggs. In fact, we would love to get some egg-laying chickens because we go through a dozen plus each time we have them for breakfast. But before we do, I knew we needed to do some research on different kinds, what works best here in our climate, how to care for them and pretty much everything we could learn about them.
So of course, being a homeschooling mom, I decided we needed some printables to go along with our research and make this a fun unit with the kids! These Chicken Life Cycle Coloring pages are a great way to start a unit, fill in some extra time or just for fun!
4 Sets of Coloring Pages Include:
- Printed words for Toddlers to just color the pages
- Traceable letters for early writers to practice and color
- Manuscript names to trace
- Cursive names to trace
If you’re looking for some great readers to use while learning about Ants, check out these great titles. Many are probably available at your local library, or you could get a Kindle version for most of them on Amazon. I love using my Kindle Reader app to read with my kids. I have so many titles at the tip of my fingers in just minutes!
