I know this is going up so, so, so late!!!! Please forgive me one last time!

Note to self: Quite making promises! Something inevitably comes up and ruins all good intentions!

I was sick most of last week and now Miss Priss has RSV!!! Seriously…does it ever stop?! Although I am thankful that we do not have the flu running rampant, I would still like all this nasty sickness to GO AWAY!!!!

With that being said, I am super excited about the little holiday tomorrow! I have always loved handwriting. In fact, I still write lists because I love writing! Yep…just another reason I’m weird and I know it! lol  But seriously, I was so excited to really research and find out more about Handwriting Day and its history.

I’ve created a printable with just a brief history of Handwriting and a few fun activities. I’ve given you a few sites where you can view (and print if you wish) early scripts. I think it would be fun to practice writing some of the older scripts with the kiddos. I’d like to show Mister Bull that he has it REAL easy now with how simple our penmanship is – LOL!! It might make him appreciate handwriting a little more – at least for a couple days, right?!

  1. Hope you ALL get well soon!
When I open the handwriting unit it won’t let me click on the links for the sample pages. Can you email them to me, please?
And the 27th is my 12th wedding anniversary so I think that’s a great reason to have chocolate cake! 🙂

    1. I will email you the links, but I have verified each of them. You might try holding the CTRL button and clicking on the link. I sometimes have to do that. But each of them worked for me both from Google Docs and from my saved PDF. The only one I couldn’t get to work is the 2nd one for Capital Letters on Guidelines. I am working to find another one and will hopefully have that fixed tonight and a new one uploaded. I will add an UPDATE into the post for those who have the same issue. I don’t know what happened to it, as I just finished it yesterday. UGH! That’s so frustrating! And I’m so sorry you have had trouble!!

      Blessings,
      Annette

    2. OH…HAPPY ANNIVERSARY on the 27th!!!! Congratulations on 12 years! Many blessings to you!

      Annette

      1. Thanks, Annette! 🙂 I appreciate you sending them. We’ll be using some tomorrow!
        Tara
