Whenever we visited my grandparents house, I remember we always had to use coasters for our cups. We didn’t really use them at our house, but at grandma’s it was a must. So when we got married, I didn’t even register for coasters.
This post is a sponsored post on behalf of Logos Trading Post. I received these products in exchange for my honest review. All comments and opinions are my own.
But some wonderful soul decided we needed some nice coasters for our house and bought us a set of coasters with our last inital on them. They were beautiful and we used them for years – until they broke. Then several years ago, my husband saw some Oklahoma Sooner coasters that we simply had to have and those have graced our side tables since.
That is until this year. When I was offered several products from Logos Trading Post for review, I chose the Logos Coasters. They are simply lovely in the pictures online, but even more beautiful in person! Here’s what their site says about them:
These drink coasters are made from high quality materials, and are easily cleanable. Every time that you entertain company, you will have the opportunity to share the simple way that you are helping share the Gospel.
Sharing the Gospel through Coasters
I am sure you’re wondering how you share the Gospel through coasters. Well, let me tell you! These coasters are made in Modern-day Turkey, which is known world-wide as the center of world-class carpet making. Turkey is also a historically rich area known for the ancient cities of the Early Chruch; Antioch, Ephesus and Colossae, which the Apostle Paul visited on three different missionary journeys.
I love that the natural foam rubber backing is truly non-slip. I don’t have any trouble with our coasters moving on the table, which is a plus with 5 kids in the house. The woven silky yarn the coasters are made from is simply beautiful. There are five different coasters to choose from – Blue, Blue Eye, The RED, The GOLD and Crosses and Crown of Thorns.
I received a set of “The Gold” design. According to the site, “Gold is the symbol of Kingship and royalty. Gold symbolizes our Heavenly King, the Lord Jesus Christ.” I love that Logos Trading Post has given great thought and care in to naming their products and shares the reason behind the name. It gives the coasters that much more meaning.
