Five years ago I released my Pilgrim Unit Study. Just like the Thanksgiving Unit Study, it has remained a very popular item, but it was in desperate need of updating. I also expanded it to include a few extra printables like Montessori-inspired counting cards and notebooking pages!

This Pilgrim Unit Study was one of the first ones I created over 5 years ago. I have updated and expanded it from 10 pages to 29 pages! It includes Language Arts, Science, Math, Social Studies/Geography, Visual Arts and much more! :: www.inallyoudo.net

When I originally created this unit study, I realized there little to no printables or studies just on the Pilgrims. That is how this study came about. This study includes a brief history of the Pilgrims, some vocabulary, questions, mapping, counting and much more!

This year, during the month of November we will once again be traveling to visit family, but not until after our oldest is released from the orthopedic regarding his broken foot. Since we travel full-time and can only camp in certain areas this time of year, we have to move more frequently than normal.

With a such a tight schedule, unit studies are a great way to continue studies without much preparation. November is a busy month for many people, so thematic studies are perfect for mixing up the normal routine while still keeping up with schoolwork.

Included in this pack:

  • 29 pages of printables
  • Language Arts
  • Science
  • Math
  • Social Studies/Geography
  • Visual Arts
  • Emergent Readers (color & B/W)
  • Montessori-Inspired Counting Cards
  • Notebooking Pages

This pack is designed for PreK-5th grades, but can easily be adjusted for older or younger kids. For my older child, I simply ask him to do more with the notebooking pages and research the Pilgrims and their lifestyle before and after arriving in America. My younger ones to do some fun sensory bins as well as sit with us as we read through the history and information pages.

These are just some of our favorite books about Pilgrims! We love reading them as we work through unit studies.
