Argh, ye Matey! What kid doesn’t want to be a pirate at some point in their life? I know my kids love to play pirates out on our playground, in the house with their blocks or on the Wii as they play “Pirates of the Caribbean.” Then it’s pirate mania for weeks on end. But, you can use that enthusiasm to your advantage! With Talk Like a Pirate Day coming up September 19th, give the kids creative license to write all about pirates!
Use the copywork pages as a way to reinforce their handwriting skills and the writing prompts for expanding their creative writing skills.
Writing Activities Include:
- 30 pages of copywork
- 7 Preschool Letters
- 7 Early Manuscript words
- 8 pages Manuscript pages
- 8 pages Cursive pages
- PLUS Extra lined pages
- 1 themed Drawing prompt
- 6 themed Writing Prompts
- 3 Manuscript lined pages
- 3 Plain lined pages
- Extra lined pages for both
