Does your family love desserts? My kids love desserts because we don’t have them very often. It’s not that we don’t like desserts, but rather I want my kids to learn that they don’t need dessert to make the meal complete or good. I don’t want them to “get used to” the sweets.
Despite our lack of desserts, my kids love to bake and decorate cookies and cupcakes. In fact, this fall my girls and I are going to try and tackle learning how to decorate cookies with royal icing! They are so excited. With six kids in the family, we thought it would be a fun way to personalize birthdays without spending too much money for the treats!

That being said, what little kid wouldn’t love to work through these adorable Dessert Themed pages? Whether you’re coming up to a birthday celebration, doing a fun cooking unit with your little ones or just dreaming of desserts, this Pre-K Pack is the perfect addition!
This Dessert Pre-K Pack is full of fun activity pages with a sweet twist. Use this pack over the course of several days as you work through a unit or pick out some of your favorite pages for a fun mini unit. No matter how you use it, they will love the adorable clipart and fun activities!
HANDWRITING
My little ones always loved working on their handwriting skills. It was new and fun. They would work so hard to make the letters just right. So of course we had to include some fun pages in this pack. You’ll find five different letter pages with coordinating treats. They will work on both uppercase and lowercase letters.
MATCHING
In the Desserts Pre-K Pack you’ll find a variety of different matching activities. Your little ones will work on their colors and reading skills as well as matching pictures. There are 3 different matching activities in all.
FINE MOTOR SKILLS
Prewriting skills are important for little ones. It is part of the fine motor skills that they need to master. They aren’t always fun to do, as they can be tedious, but making them fun does help! This page would be great laminated for multiple uses!
RIDDLES
Do your little ones know how to decipher riddles? Riddles can be a fun, silly way to help kids work on problem solving skills – an important part of mathematics and reasoning. There are 6 dessert themed riddles included in this Pre-K pack.
MORE FUN ACTIVITIES
And that’s not all! There is a counting page for up to 15, which should be simple enough for preschoolers and a fun review for those closer to kindergarten. Also included are three pages of dessert themed drawing prompts, which your little ones will enjoy. These can quickly be laminated to use with playdough, or over and over with wipe-off markers, which is great for their imagination.
