Over the past year I have been working on a Northern European Unit Study, which has been quite the labor of love. I have enjoyed learning about these far off countries and their unique languages over the last year. But the last unit is finally complete! Norway here we come!
With this Norway Geography Unit, we complete this six country unit study. While geography was never one of my favorite subjects in school, as I teach my own children, I have fallen in love with the languages and natural landscapes of Northern Europe. The reason I originally began this project and why it intrigued me so much is because the Scandinavian countries have always drawn me in.
In this final study of our Northern Europe travels, students will be introduced to the Norwegian language (links and flashcards included), and given different maps of the country to label waterways/rivers, regions, main cities, fact files, as well as notebooking pages for recording other geographical & government facts.
While this is not a complete unit study on Norway, but by adding some additional reading resources, researching some of the famous people from Norway, and cooking up a recipe or two, you will cover every subject.
Included in this Set
- 45 total pages
