If there’s one thing homeschoolers love it’s simple, print-and-go activities, especially theme related. Am I the only one? I love the idea of having resources that are easy to understand, take little to no prep, and are simple to use with multiple kids. If this sounds like your cup of tea and you’re looking for Valentine’s Day resources, here’s a good list to get you started!

Non-Printable Valentine’s Day Activities
Before we dive into the list of free Valentine’s Day printables, let’s look at a few fun activities that can help make Valentine’s Day fun. These are a great way to switch things up a bit while including some of your kids’ favorite things to do. They’ll have a great time learning and celebrating this day.
Learn the History of Valentine.
Of course, depending on the resources you come across – and choose to use – you and your kids can go on a journey of learning the history of Valentine and where this day came from. Older children can read and take notes about it while younger children can listen to Valentine’s Day history and then dictate what they learned verbally or draw pictures to show what they remember.
Play fun games.
Kids of all ages enjoy playing games and there are many that you can play to have some Valentine’s Day fun. Your kids can play bingo with candy hearts and heart-themed bingo cards, have timed rounds with Valentine word scrambles, or play other related board games.
Make Valentine’s Day crafts.
Work gross and fine motor skills in a fun way by having your kids do a few crafts. They can write love letters to parents, grandparents, and siblings. They can also make a Valentine card for their best friend. If they really want to get creative, have them make paper hearts, and other crafts that can be given as gifts.
Bake Valentine’s Day snacks and treats.
For breakfast, the whole family can work together tow hip up some heart-shaped pancakes. You can also make some easy sweetheart popcorn using popped corn and chocolate or yogurt dipping sauce. Let your kids have a go at baking one big conversation heart made from brownie mix. And once all of the snacks have been made, settle in to read some Valentine’s Day books or a love-themed movie.
