When I began creating printables years ago I literally knew nothing. I did what I could and just started adding things to them. I even used *gasp* illegal images in them, because I was ignorant. Since learning all that I know about clipart and photo usage in products, I had to pull the products I had and recreate them – legally.
I completely redid and updated this St. Patrick’s Day Unit Study and I am so pleased with the results! It looks great and has some new and wonderful activities expanding the age range to truly include PreK learners.

St. Patrick’s Day was never one of my favorite holidays. As a public school kid, I stressed over wearing “enough” green that I wouldn’t get pinched. And heaven forbid if it wasn’t the right shade of green for the ‘cool’ kids and you still got pinched.
It wasn’t until I was older that I realized the significance of the holiday and how much of an impact the man, Saint Patrick, had on Christianity in Ireland. This unit teaches kids just a glimpse about the man, plus gives some great ideas for science, geography, visual arts and more!
Included in this pack:
- 34 pages of printables
- Language Arts
- Science
- Math
- Social Studies/Geography
- Visual Arts
- Adult-type coloring pages
- Montessori-Inspired Counting Cards
- Notebooking Pages
This pack is designed for PreK-5th grades, but can easily be adjusted for older or younger kids. For my older child, I simply ask him to do more with the notebooking pages and research the Ireland, while my younger ones get to do some fun sensory bins as well as sit with us as we work through the Tot Pack.
