I have always wanted to go on a Safari. I have friends who have gone and their pictures are absolutely breathtaking. The closest I’ve come is the Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom (DisneyWorld). When we finally settled on dates for the trip, it was the absolute one FastPass I insisted on for our day at Animal Kingdom.
I probably have more pictures from that one “ride” than any other day during our trip. It was just that amazing. I don’t know that I will ever be able to travel to Africa for a real safari, so for now I will have to just stare at my pictures and remember the Kilimanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom. My kids have always loved animals, so it was really a natural choice for us on our visit.
Animals are always fascinating to learn about and if your little ones are like mine, they love to play with them and act them out too! This PreK Fun Pack is such a fun way to incorporate their love and fascination of animals with learning. In this pack they will practice their fine motor skills, handwriting, letters, numbers, counting and so much more!
HANDWRITING
My little ones always loved working on their handwriting skills. It was new and fun. They would work so hard to make the letters just right. So of course we had to include some fun pages in this pack. You’ll find four different letter pages with a coordinating animals. They will work on both uppercase and lowercase letters.
FINE MOTOR SKILLS
Prewriting skills are important for little ones. It is part of the fine motor skills that they need to master. They aren’t always fun to do, as they can be tedious, but making them fun does help! In this pack you’ll find five different pages to help them with these fine motor skills. They will trace letters (uppercase and lowercase), numbers (1-20) and a variety of different types of lines.
MATH SKILLS
Mostly we focus on counting and recognizing numbers during the prek years. But there are other skills they can work on too. In this pack they will work on size comparison, counting, number order (1-20) and recognizing numbers all through a fun Roll-A-Graph worksheet. All you need is a die!
MORE FUN ACTIVITIES
Hands-on, fun activities are the best way for little ones to learn and remember things. In this pack they will work through two letter mazes (uppercase and lowercase) that will help them learn their letters in alphabetical order. You’ll also find a scissor practice page, shadow matching where they can match the colored animal image with their shadow and a variety of puzzles that encourage counting, shape recognition and matching animals with their names.
